Hello! I’m Tonya, and I’m so happy you are here!
I’m a wife and mama first, but on my best days, I find food for my soul in photography. I don’t have a Pinterest-worthy home, and my children usually have dirty faces and mismatched outfits they chose themselves. My floors are always covered with an array of toys and crumbs, and my yard is green only because I water the weeds.
I know first hand the challenges and rewards of mothering. How the busy-ness of life and the exhaustion can make it easy to overlook the simple, beautiful moments that exist in every family. I want to show you exactly what makes your family special, just the way it is. I will capture the richness that exists in your daily life and create tangible art that you can hold in your hands and hang on your walls.
A photo session with me will be less about getting the “perfect” photo and more about the memory making. No need to worry about location, wardrobe, or unmanageable children. I'm here to help you every step of the way. And with four wild little ones of my own, I might have a few tricks for managing free spirits.
This is the wisdom I have gained by observing my own family through my lens for the past thirteen years: the meaning of life is found in the smallest details and briefest moments, everyone has a story, and every story is worth telling.
